Salisbury Consulting Serves Diverse Businesses and Organizations

Academic and Professional Background:

Jan Salisbury received her BA from Whitman College in Dramatic Art and Psychology and attended the University of Utah, receiving a Master of Science in psychology at Central Washington University in Psychology. Her masters thesis focused on locus of control and the effects unpredictable stress on experimental subjects.

TEACHING - Jan Salisbury taught psychology (Personality, Development, Organizational Stress, Counseling Skills, Psychology of Gender, Managing Cultural Differences at:

  • Portland Community College (1975-1979)
  • Western Washington University (1980-1981)
  • Antioch Graduate School (1981-1990)
  • Boise State University (1997-Present)

Since 1992, Ms. Salisbury has attended the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication for eight one week intense training and education on such topics as developing global leaders, advanced training for cultural diversity, and facilitating intercultural discovery.
